Nestled in the tranquil town of Pedrengo, a charming haven for wine and beer enthusiasts known as 14 awaits. For this delightful wine bar and brewery in the picturesque Bergamo province, I designed a logo that captures the essence of its offerings: fine wine and artisanal beer.

The project’s concept was to highlight these two main products, blending their distinctive features with elegance. The journey began with brainstorming sessions alongside Francesca, the owner, as we enjoyed a glass of red wine and a bruschetta, allowing inspiration to flow naturally.

Initial sketches were scanned and vectorized, then refined to ensure a harmonious balance between the elements. The images showcase the evolution from the preliminary draft to the final design.

Although the design process started in black and white, color was a crucial element from the start. The concept was to blend the colors of wine and beer within the glass, with the number 14 elegantly emerging from their fluid motion. The design was divided into three distinct parts: the color of wine, the color of beer, and their harmonious fusion. The final logo is presented in both positive and negative versions. In the positive version, the beer blends with the red wine, while in the negative version, it mixes with white wine.

Also included are the monochromatic versions of the logo, both positive and negative. Each version celebrates the union of tradition and modernity and reflects the unique character of 14 Beer and Wine.
