Shelves are essential elements in our homes, serving as practical spaces to hold books, objects, and cherished keepsakes. Typically, shelves are simple, linear, and blend seamlessly into the decor without drawing too much attention. But what if these seemingly ordinary surfaces could become true focal points of a room, with a distinctive design and modular geometry that adapts to the available space? This idea led to the creation of "Space Branch," an innovative concept that reimagines the traditional shelf with a touch of originality and creativity.

Imagine a bare branch, transported from the natural world into a 1990s video game, coming to life on your walls. "Space Branch" are characterized by a modular design, consisting of elements of varying lengths and angles, which can be combined in various configurations—aligned, staggered, or rotated 180°—creating unique and dynamic compositions.

The shorter sections of the branches are perfect as "catch-alls" for keys, remotes, and small objects, while the longer parts provide the ideal space for books, DVDs, or decorative items. The possibilities for practicality and creativity are endless: the more space you have, the bolder and more artistic the combinations can become.

Crafted from MDF and finished with a vibrant orange polyurethane lacquer, "Space Branches" can be customized in a wide range of colors, allowing them to complement any decor style, transforming a simple wall into an interactive piece of art. The shelves are mounted using invisible supports, giving the design a clean and floating appearance, as if the branches are suspended in mid-air. Produced by Modulor, they were unveiled at the 2014 Fuorisalone del Mobile.
